Ladbrokes renews UK sportsbook contract with OpenBet
London-listed operator renews its long-standing agreement with sportsbook provider until 2016
Ladbrokes has renewed its UK sportsbook contract with software provider OpenBet for a further three years.
The operator’s partnership with OpenBet already spans 15 years, having originally contracted London-based OpenBet in 1998.
Under the new agreement, OpenBet will continue to supports Ladbrokes’ online sportsbook and games products, complimenting what the operator continues to receive as part of its deal with Playtech.
“We are pleased to extend our long-standing relationship with OpenBet with this agreement which offers revenue opportunities to both parties and enhances our partnership with Playtech and other providers,” said Ladbrokes CEO Richard Glynn.
OpenBet CEO Jeremy Thompson-Hill, who replaced David Loveday following his resignation in March, claimed the extension to be good for OpenBet, Ladbrokes and its customers.
“The most satisfying element of this new deal is that Ladbrokes has been one of the cornerstone clients for OpenBet right from the start of our company’s history,” he added.
OpenBet penned a contract with TotelFootball last month to incorporate its fantasy sports pools betting game into the platform, having previously agreed casino deals with Bally and WMS earlier this year.
