Ladbrokes pairs with SIS for greyhound online streaming deal
Lads expands online offering to stream live from Monmore and Crayford greyhound tracks
Ladbrokes has expanded its online offering after signing an exclusive four-year rights deal with gaming supplier SIS to stream live UK greyhound racing.
The operator’s track and broadcast rights deal for the Monmore and Crayford greyhound tracks will be shown live through SIS Stream, the streaming service for bookmakers worldwide.
The agreement takes SIS’ partnership with Ladbrokes-owned greyhound tracks up to the end of 2020.
“We’re pleased to be extending our partnership with SIS at Monmore and Crayford, and working closely to promote greyhound racing within LBOs and to online customers,” Richard Brankley, head of stadia for Ladbrokes, said.
“Developing the greyhound offering is a high priority for us and, while schedules will remain the same in the short-term, we’re excited for the opportunities that SIS can deliver to ensure that our hugely popular tracks continue to offer industry-leading prize money, along with the security of a long-term deal for trainers and owners.”
Paul Witten, commercial director for SIS, said: “We will continue to deliver our high-quality, reliable broadcast SIS Greyhound Services at Monmore and Crayford, while further developing our greyhound offering to include more products and growing online reach. We’re excited for the opportunities ahead for SIS, Ladbrokes and the wider greyhound industry.”
Ladbrokes has been pushing its horseracing offering with the release of two new TV adverts featuring its recently signed ambassador Frankie Dettori.
Earlier this month, Genius Sports signed an exclusive partnership deal with SIS to distribute official Spanish football data.
