Ladbrokes signs betting partnership with Sheffield United
Multi-channel bookmaker becomes Championship club’s official stadium betting partner
Ladbrokes has announced a betting partnership with Sheffield United ahead of the 2017-18 football season.
The deal mimics Coral’s recent partnership with Sunderland and will see Ladbrokes establish a presence on the club’s official website and social media channels to support betting activity prior to games.
The multi-channel operator will also provide betting services at Bramall Lane during the next three seasons as the club’s official stadium betting partner.
Ladbrokes head of PR Jessica Bridge said: “We are very excited at Ladbrokes to be forming this dynamic partnership with Sheffield United Football Club as they embark on their mission to be promoted to the Premier League. It promises to be an exciting season ahead for the club and we would like to wish the manager, the players and all the fans the very best of luck.”
Blades fans will be able to access exclusive Ladbrokes offers and promotions throughout the campaign and could win training ground visits, signed club merchandise and match tickets.
Sheffield United head of commercial Paul Reeves said: “We are very much looking forward to working with Ladbrokes and giving the supporters access to a well-known high street betting partner who will work with the Club to ensure that match day betting services are delivered with the supporter experience very much at the forefront of their offer.”
Sheffield United is the third Championship club to announce a betting partnership this week following Coral’s deal with Sunderland and Grosvenor Casinos’ sponsorship of Fulham.
