Ladbrokes launches omni-channel betslip generator
Operator’s latest Grid app add-on will allow retail customers to build football accumulators on their own devices
Ladbrokes has boosted its omni-channel offering after adding a betslip generator to the Football Buddy feature on its Grid app.
The Grid app allows punters to manage and combine their betting activity across retail and online while Football Buddy helps customers find and add teams to accumulator bets.
The new feature will generate a barcode once punters have found their bets, which can then be scanned in-shop to place the bet.
The receipt can also be uploaded to the Grid app, allowing punters to follow bets online and cash out via mobile, reducing the need for paper coupons and handwritten betslips.
The betslip generator will be launched initially for football markets and will assist shop customers in building their bets on their own devices.
The operator has said the new functionality “provides greater choice, ease and convenience for both the customer and employee”.

“The new betslip generator is the next step in the digital future proofing of the Ladbrokes retail estate and it supports our business vision to move from analogue to digital experience in shops.”
The roll-out is the latest feature in the operator’s ‘Omni-channel 2.0’ strategy.
