Kimber heads up new IoM-licensed operator
Xela holdings looking to launch site into the UK at the end of the month.
Garth Kimber, former head of egaming development with the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission, has begun his new role as CEO of Xela Holdings, heading up the Isle of Man-based arm of the Asian egaming operator.
Kimber, who announced he was stepping down from his role with the regulator last November, will continue to be based on the island, where Xela has just submitted payment for its operating licence.
Xela is primarily a casino operator, although it also has a sportsbook offering, and the company is looking to launch a UK-facing site at the end of this month or in early March.
The chief executive is joined at the company by Lisa Underwood, former egaming development manager on the Isle of Man.
