Oxford University grad Pablo Puertas joins Greek operator to improve international marketing prowess
Kaizen Gaming has hired William Hill International’s head of digital marketing Pablo Puertas as its new marketing director. In his new role, Puertas will be tasked with driving Kaizen’s marketing strategy for the group and helping to develop the company’s brands and product portfolio. He joined the operator in October 2021 and will be based in Athens, reporting into Kaizen Gaming CMO Panos Konstantopoulos. Puertas spent the last three and a half years with William Hill, originally as a digital marketing manager in Madrid before moving to Malta and being promoted to head of digital marketing in February 2020. He has also worked as a freelance marketing and data science expert between roles with Merkle and Brainlabs Digital. Furthermore, Puertas holds an M.A. in Philosophy from the University of London and an M.Sc. in Cognitive and Evolutionary Anthropology from Oxford University. Kaizen Gaming CMO Konstantopoulos said: “Kaizen Gaming is on a strong international growth path and in order to deliver on our expansion targets we need a team with solid international exposure. “I am confident that Pablo brings the experience and skills we need to reinforce our brands across all markets. “I am very pleased to welcome him onboard and look forward to working towards reaching our ambitious goals,” he added. Kaizen Gaming is planning to open a brand-new Athens HQ in 2022.
