Jackpotjoy Group hires new chief commercial officer
Mikah Martin-Cruz joins the London-listed operator following senior marketing roles at Microsoft, Samsung and Sony

Jackpotjoy Group (JPJ) has appointed former Microsoft chief marketing officer, Mikah Martin-Cruz, as its new chief commercial officer.
Martin Cruz will be primarily focused on driving growth for JPJ’s Vera&John and InterCasino brands, the newly-relocated operator said.
He will start his new role on 5 February and be based in JPJ’s Malta office.
Martin Cruz joins JPJ from his position as chief commercial and marketing officer at Telecoms firm Lebara, before which he held marketing roles at Microsoft, Samsung and Sony.
“We are thrilled that Mikah is joining the team,” said Irina Cornides, chief revenue officer for Intertain Bahamas.
“His extensive experience both inside and outside the gaming industry make him a great fit to lead Vera&John and InterCasino to their next phase of growth.”
One of Martin-Cruz’s initial area of priority will be Denmark, where Vera&John and Intercasino recently picked up full licences, with JPJ pledging an “aggressive” marketing spend.
