Gaming Realms’ Slingo Riches game has won the ‘Game to Watch 2015’ award, voted on by delegates at the conference. The gaming operator pitched the title to a panel of judges comprising Sky Betting & Gaming’s Bruce Bale, Paddy Power’s Shane Stafford, Plumbee’s Raf Keustermans, 888’s Yariv Lavi and Mark Clohessy from Betclic Everest. David Hampstead, chief technology officer at Gaming Realms, picked up the award on behalf of the company after it saw off competition from SUNFox Games, Genesis Gaming, Unusual Studios and Virtual Intellectual Projects.
NYX Gaming Group has added online scratch cards to its OGS casino games server for the first time, launching nine titles based on NextGen Gaming slot games. The product has been made available to NYX OGS licensees and David Johnson, commercial director at NYX Gaming Group, said the product was “perfect for instant play”. “We are committed to a roadmap of further scratch card titles which will widen the funnel of operator acquisition and conversion, whilst providing a fun and profitable alternative to our classic slots.”
Barcelona-based MGA Group has finalised an agreement with Premier Megaplex to launch its suite of casino and video bingo titles on the Spanish broadcaster’s online gaming site. The games are slated to launch later this year on premiercasino.es. “It’s exciting know our games will be with Premier! MGA offers classic Spanish style content that we are confident will appeal to www.premiercasino.es customers in Spain,” Anna Wilson, international sales manager at MGA, said.

GeoComply has signed a deal with Nevada-based MGM Resorts International to supply its geolocation technology for MGM to launch a new mobile casino and sportsbook this year. The geolocation solution provider’s services will enable MGM to verify a player’s location at one of its resorts. “We’re honored to work with MGM Resorts on this unique project – in-building geolocation has never been done before in this space,” GeoComply CEO, Anna Sainsbury, said. “We have morphed our best-of-breed technologies used for Nevada poker and New Jersey into an on-property solution which can pinpoint the location of a player within a few feet.”

NYX Gaming Group is to launch its NYX Poker product with Georgian casino firm Iveriabet after striking a supply contract with the operator. Iveriabet had previously agreed to take NYX’s OGS casino software but has extended the deal to include the poker product, formerly known as Ongame, which NYX acquired from Amaya Gaming late last year. “These agreements are strategically important as they provide an entry point into a newly regulated geographic market which further demonstrates NYX’s ambition and focus on locally regulated markets,” David Flynn, EVP of business development at NYX Gaming Group, said.

Retention automation platform Optimove has expanded its social casino client base after signing a deal with Crazy Panda, Jelly Button Games and LuckFish Games to manage the operators’ player marketing operations. The three companies join a list of social gaming firms already partnered with Optimove including Zynga and Dragonplay as they look to improve customer conversions, engagement, spend and loyalty. “With increased competition in the social gaming space and the growth of user acquisition costs over the last couple of years, game developers have discovered that they must turn their attention to retention marketing and making the most of their existing player bases,” Pini Yakuel, Optimove CEO, said.
