GiG secures Megalotto as first data platform client
Malta-based lottery start-up signs data-driven deal to boost compliance measures
Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) has launched its proprietary real-time data platform with its first B2B customer in Malta-based start-up Megalotto.
The platform will provide Megalotto with features including a KPI library incorporated with artificial intelligence and will also improve player safety and anti-money laundering compliance measures.
GiG chief information officer Chris Armes described the software as a “compliant, real-time data platform that focuses on self-service”.
Megalotto – founded by Optimizer Invest – is already powered by the GiG Core platform.
The app went live in February 2020 after securing a licence from the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA).
Megalotto CEO Grant Williams said: “A key strategic objective for Megalotto is to be a data-driven organisation which can extract and interpret a mixture of financial and transactional data in real-time, to make better decisions for the customer and for the company.
“The tools we now have available via GiG Data means we can continue to deliver on our vision to offer a personalised lottery and gaming experience to all of our customers across all markets,” he added.
