GiG reshuffles executive board with new CMO appointment
GiG Media MD Jonas Warrer gets additional responsibility for marketing as Claudia Ginex is promoted to chief people officer
Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) has restructured its senior management team to better reflect the build-up of the business.
GiG Media MD Jonas Warrer has been given the additional title of chief marketing officer, while current CCO Ben Clemes has also been appointed as MD of for the GiG Platform division.
Warrer first joined GiG in September 2017 as a general manager before stepping up to MD in October 2019. Clemes has served as the group’s CCO since December 2017.
The third structural change sees Claudia Ginex promoted to chief people officer from her previous role as director of HR.
Ginex originally joined GiG as a HR business partner in November 2016 before accelerating up the ranks to become head of people in October 2018 and then director of HR in January 2020.
GiG CEO Richard Brown said of the reshuffle: “In order to reflect evenly and more accurately across the executive management team and the growing roles and responsibilities on a corporate level of both, we are adjusting Jonas and Ben’s titles.
“I am extremely pleased to move Claudia into the chief people officer role. Over the last 18 months, she has demonstrated her skill and talent, leading and developing the people operations team through a transformative 2020 and is continually adding value across the whole business,” he added.
