Genting launches bespoke live casino
Operator teams-up with Evolution for live launch, also unveils multi-channel payments system
Genting Alderney this morning unveiled two new bespoke live casino studios for its GentingCasino.com brand, as well as launching a new payments system which enables customers to withdraw online balances from any of its UK casinos.
The operator teamed-up with Evolution for the live casino launch with the rooms designed to recreate the look and feel players would expect from any of Genting’s 45 land-based casinos.
One of the rooms, based on Genting’s flagship Crockfords bricks-and-mortar casino in London, has been aimed at VIP players and includes a number of additional camera angles and in-play promotions.
In addition, the firm announced the launch of a new multi-channel payments system which enables customers to withdraw cash sitting in their online Genting accounts from the operator’s land-based casinos.
“Creating a fully integrated service spanning land and live-streamed environments is central to our online strategy, which also includes the development of a new payment system facilitating the seamless transfer of funds between on and offline play,” Peter Nolan, MD at GentingCasino.com, said.
“The launch of Live Casino is an important milestone as we develop the Genting brand online, enabling players to enjoy the real Genting experience whether in the club or on a range of devices at home or on the move,” he added.
Genting will support the new product launches with a re-run of an earlier television campaign and additional investment into areas such as affiliate and PPC marketing. The firm also said it would roll-out a brand new TV advertisement next month.
In October, Genting Alderney sold its UK-facing online gaming business to Malaysia-based parent company Genting Malaysia Berhad for ?7.2m in a deal it said would boost its multi-channel aspirations.
