Genius Sports opens trio of tech hubs
New bases in Los Angeles, MedellÃn and Vilnius to support the supplierâs growth plans
Genius Sports has launched three new technology hubs in the US, Colombia and Lithuania as it looks to fulfil âburgeoning demand in the sectorâ.
The data provider chose the locations to secure access to local developers, with the new offices supporting new and existing Genius Sports projects.
The firm said the expansion will also help it offer a 24/7 service to customers.
âThe opening of these three new offices is a reflection of the growing demand for our services around the world,â said Genius Sports CEO Mark Locke.
âThe expansion of operation centres in key locations underlines our commitment to providing around-the-clock services to our clients and builds on our reputation as one of the fastest growing sports technology companies in the world.â
Genius Sports was formed earlier this year following a merger between sportsbook services provider Betgenius and data management firm SportingPulse.
Locke said at the time of the merger that the new scale of the group would help its global expansion, including growth in the US, India and China.
