Gaming Realms backs Spin Genie with multi-million pound TV campaign
AIM-listed online gambling group's to spend seven-figure sum on TV advertising to coincide with a relaunch of its revamped online casino
Gaming Realms will spend a seven-figure sum on a major TV and digital advertising campaign due to launch next week to push its online casino brand Spin Genie, eGaming Review has learned.
The national TV campaign will feature a 30-second ad which will run across primetime ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5 and Sky TV slots in addition to Facebook video ads and a YouTube presence.
“The TV advert is a bit of departure from what you might expect from a slots or casino site,” Simon Smiley, chief market officer at Gaming Realms, told eGR.
“The ad reflects the games style nature of Spin Genie as well as the adventure and journey the user goes through,” he added.
The TV advert will also be backed by a significant digital media spend as well as maintaining a presence across other media channels.
“Traditionally you have a big spend on TV but we also have an even bigger spend on digital which we find gets a much better response,” Smiley said.
The campaign coincides with next Wednesday’s launch of a completely new version of Spin Genie which will include a new logo, branding and mascot while also maintaining game elements that were popular with its players previously.
eGR revealed the original launch of Spin Genie last October which was the first product to debut on Gaming Realms’ new proprietary gaming platform.
Gaming Realms has previously backed the launch of new products with substantial advertising campaigns including its online bingo site Bingo Godz, although Smiley described the Spin Genie campaign as “much bigger”.
