Gaming Realms signs first non-UK B2B deal
Operator to provide platform and content services to Norwegian operator that bought 70% of Gaming Realms’ B2C arm
Gaming Realms has signed a platform deal with Norwegian operator River iGaming, marking the first time it will supply its platform deal outside the UK.
The firm’s tech arm, Alchemy Bet, will provide its Grizzly platform technology to River iGaming’s newest casino brand, Casonic.
The £1m platform and content agreement is part of a wider deal that saw Gaming Realms sell 70% of its B2C arm to River iGaming’s for £23.1m.
The Casonic brand is expected to be launched in the Nordics by the end of the year and will have payments operated by Entercash, which allows players to register direct from their online banking account.
“This is a significant milestone for Gaming Realms,” said Gaming Realms CEO Patrick Southon. “Whilst we have built games for international markets, this is the first time our proprietary platform will service a casino in a market outside the UK. We’re looking forward to seeing Casonic grow its player base and further developing our relationship with River iGaming.”
After the sale of its B2C business, said it would pivot to becoming an entirely B2B business, offering content, platform and licensing services.
