Gaming Realms inks Slingo licensing agreement with Betsson
Slingo Originals games now available to UK and Scandinavian players via Betsson brands
Gaming Realms has agreed a licensing agreement for its Slingo Originals content with Swedish operator Betsson.
Under the terms of the agreement, Gaming Realms will integrate its Slingo games across Betsson’s network of brands including Betsafe, NordicBet, CasinoEuro and Europebet.
Gaming Realms confirmed the Slingo games will be distributed through its existing partnership with Relax Gaming, which was first agreed in June.
Gaming Realms CEO Patrick Southon said the deal would reinforce Gaming Realms’ existing UK presence and boost its visibility in Scandinavia.
In June, Gaming Realms announced it would cut 60% of its workforce as part of a strategic pivot away from B2C gaming and into gaming licensing.
The company followed this up by concluding a similar three-year deal with SG Digital to distribute its Slingo Originals games to over 200 operators via SG Digital’s opening gaming system platform.
In August, Gaming Realms completed the sale of its Bear Group Limited B2C business to River iGaming for £11.5m, marking the end of its operations in the UK B2C market.
In early trading today on the London Stock Exchange, Gaming Realms’ share price fell from an opening price of 6.44p to an at publication price of 6.05p.
