GameAccount to bring Konami slot content online
Machine manufacturer's casino slot games will be made available on GameAccount's platforms in regulated markets
Slots supplier Konami Gaming has selected GameAccount Network (GAN) to distribute online versions of its casino content into regulated markets.
Under the terms of the deal, online versions of Konami’s slot games will be made available to GAN’s clients via its platforms in regulated markets, including Italy, the UK and New Jersey.
The first online titles from the casino gaming subsidiary of the Japanese software giant will appear on the GAN network in early 2014.
“It was critical for us to find a partner who could help us deliver our game content online in a manner designed to help our casino customers grow revenue and expand their businesses,” Steve Sutherland, chief operating officer and executive vice-president at Konami, said.
“Our mission continues to be to enable land-based casino slot manufacturers to swiftly move online into Europe and North America’s regulated internet gaming markets,” Julius Patta, president of GameAccount Network USA, added.
London-based GAN has signed a number of similar content deals in recent months, including with land-based slot games developer Reel Time Gaming and SHFL entertainment.
It has also secured a supplier deal with Betfair and the Trump Plaza casino in New Jersey, which will see it provide third-party casino and poker software.
