Gala Bingo launches new ‘Bingo Like a Boss’ TV ad campaign
GVC bingo brand recruits Tattoo Fixers TV presenter Paisley Billings to front new TV and digital marketing series
Gala Bingo has launched a new ‘Bingo Like a Boss’ advertising campaign which aims to encourage a younger audience onto the platform.
The campaign focuses on Gloria, described as a ‘sassy woman who slays life whilst casually playing bingo’, played by reality TV presenter Paisley Billings.
The first of four adverts shows Billings playing Gala Bingo as she plays an electric guitar with her feet.
The ads will run from 24 February through to 16 March and will be supported by a digital campaign.
The new campaign is part of Gala’s latest rebrand, which includes an updated logo and tone of voice, as well as a new approach to digital.
The content starring Billings was directed by Los Angeles-based creative duo Fatal Farm and is being overseen by ad agency Antidote.
Karina Adrian, head of brand marketing at Gala Bingo, said: “We wanted to mix up the category and refresh our brand. We are a brand with significant heritage and branding that has stood us in good stead, however the time felt right to revamp and refresh.
“We want to show a younger audience how fun and exhilarating the game can be, showing there is something for everyone. We’re really excited to unleash Gloria on the nation and bring the sass to bingo.”
