France Pari Q1 revenues up 70% as B2B arm grows
French operator cites in-house mobile products as driver of growth with new iOS native app due for launch this week
French sports betting operator France Pari has posted a 70% year-on-year increase in Q1 revenues as both its B2B and B2C divisions grew faster than expected.
The operator reported total revenues of 4m and EBITDA of 150,000, highlighting the success of its newly launched mobile product as a key driver for growth.
While horse racing pari-mutual stakes were flat YoY, sports betting stakes grew 80% to 3.5m compared to Q1 2013.
Mobile bets accounted for 15% of that figure and a new native iOS sportsbook app will be launched this week.
France Pari’s B2B division Sportnco continued to grow and posted an 87% rise in revenues and the company said it has signed deals to provide sportsbook services to new clients in France and beyond.
The four sports betting platforms managed by Sportnco processed a total of 12m stakes, generating a GGR of 2.5m. A native iOS app will be made available for Sportnco clients during Q2.
France Pari was granted a licence for fixed-odds sports betting in the dot.fr market in 2012, which complemented its existing horse racing product.
Last year also saw the operator agree a UK-facing B2B partnership with Groupe Partouche to relaunch the livebetting.com domain, however according to the website the venture is yet to launch.
