Former Gala Coral product chief joins Carousel Group as COO
Phillip Wilson will help grow the Madrid-based operator’s operations as it increases its staff count
Former head of product for Gala Coral Phillip Wilson has joined Madrid-based start-up Carousel Group as its COO.
Wilson will help grow the firm’s operations as it carries out a major recruitment drive to increase its headcount by 30.
Speaking to EGR, Carousel Group CEO Daniel Graetzer said the firm was focused on hiring leadership and strategy roles and would soon start building its wider operational teams.

Wilson’s career background includes a recent stint as COO of Danish lottery platform lottery platform provider Winners Group.
Prior to that Wilson spent three years at Gala Coral where he contributed to the operator’s rapid progress on mobile and tablet.
Graetzer said in a statement: “I am delighted to welcome Phillip to the team.
“His experience at developing and implementing strategies that drive rapid growth and deliver sustainable success will significantly benefit Carousel Group,” Graetzer said.
