Two new categories have been added to this year’s eGaming Review Awards, the Rising Star award and the award for Financial Betting Operator of the Year.
The Rising Star award recognises companies who are new to the industry but that are making a significant impact.
It is open to companies covering poker, bingo, skill games, casino or sportsbetting that have net gaming revenues under £10M and that have been in the industry for three years or less.Entries will be judged on those showing the greatest promise, based on their innovation, revenue growth and profitability.
Financial Betting Operator of the Year will be judged on a betting operator’s scale and domination, its online and offline marketing, its CRM and the strength of its brand, and the growth it has achieved. It will also reward the operator judged to have shown the most leadership and innovation, and reward ‘usability’, as judged by online customer experience experts Foviance (more).
As reported on EGRmagazine.com, this year’s Awards ceremony takes place on the first night of EGR Live, a new two-day event at London’s old Billingsgate Market featuring 1,200 eGaming delegates on 30 November (more).
The new awards categories sit alongside established categories such as Operator of the Year, Affiliate Programme of the Year and Outstanding Contribution of the Year, which were last year won by PartyGaming, Ladbrokes and John Anderson, former chief executive of 888 (more).
The Awards feature some categories in which scale is important, but many where scale is irrelevant such as those for innovation, online marketing, financial betting or affiliate programme of the year.
