Ex-Betfred affiliate chief joins 10bet
Eliot Jacob leaves Warrington-based bookmaker to head up affiliate programme at sports betting operator
Former Betfred head of affiliates Eliot Jacob has left the bookmaker to join 10bet as director of affiliates and partnerships. Jacob joins the sports betting operator from Betfred where he most recently served as head of affiliates and digital partnerships since September 2021. He originally joined Betfred in February 2021 as head of affiliates. Prior to joining Betfred, Jacob spent more than five years with advertising agency ActiveWin Media, culminating in his role as head of affiliates. In his new role, Jacob will be responsible for 10bet’s affiliate business in the UK and Europe across all verticals. Jacob will work remotely and will report into chief marketing officer Yaniv Oz. He will assume the role on 6 April. Speaking to EGR, Jacob said: “This is an exciting opportunity. During [my time at Betfred], I progressed my skillset and network which is what I believe will support me in the move to 10Bet, where I want to grow their programme like I did at Betfred. “It will also be great to see the new territories that we move into in the future with 10Bet and how we will tackle each one differently,” he added. Roy Meckenzie, 10bet majority shareholder, said: “We believe that Eliot is the right person at the right time for 10bet. We are honoured and excited that Eliot is joining our company and believe that our partners and employees will greatly benefit from his move.”
