Evolution strikes deal with JVH group in the Netherlands
Swedish supplier to provide Dutch casino chain with online live games on the Jack’s Casino website from next September
Leading live casino supplier Evolution has inked a partnership with JVH gaming & entertainment group (JVH group) in the Netherlands ahead of the online market’s regulation next year. The deal will give JVH group access to Evolution’s live table games and gameshow-type category of unique titles, as well as its first-person RNG games. Privately-owned JVH group, which was founded in 1958 and boasts more than 80 properties under various brands, plans to launch with Evolution’s product suite using its Jack’s Casino website on 1 September next year. This is the date when the Netherlands is expected to fire the starting pistol on its long-awaited regulated online gambling industry, ending one of the world’s longest-established grey markets. A dedicated environment with Jack’s Casino branding will be built within one of the Stockholm-listed supplier’s studios. Eric Olders, CEO and chairman at JVH group, commented: “The opening of the regulated Dutch online gambling market has been subject to a number of serious delays over the years, but finally it is going to happen. “I can promise our players that the live gaming experience they will be able to enjoy at our online casino will be well worth the wait.” Meanwhile, Johan Nordstrom, chief executive for Malta and chief commercial officer at Evolution, added: “We are very proud to have been chosen by JVH group, a company with an impressive 60-year heritage in the Dutch gaming market. “We very much look forward to achieving high levels of success through a close partnership with them in this new and extremely exciting online market.” In November, the Dutch government’s lower house voted 92-45 in favour of a motion to tax all online operators in the market from 1 January 2021.
