EveryMatrix appoints new CEO for casino
Malta-based firm promotes from within as Stian Enger Pettersen steps up to executive position
EveryMatrix has promoted Stian Enger Pettersen to chief executive of the company’s casino business unit.
Pettersen, who joined EveryMatrix in October 2013, has spent the past four years as the group’s casino product manager.
During this period, Pettersen was a key figure in building the BonusEngine platform and improving EveryMatrix’s casino offering.
He was also pivotal in securing partnerships with major operators such as OPAP and Paddy Power Betfair, as well as supporting smaller, long-term clients such as Norsk Tipping in achieving their casino targets.
Prior to joining EveryMatrix, Pettersen served a brief stint as CEO at Jetbull and held several managerial roles across online gaming and IT.
EveryMatrix CEO Ebbe Groes said there was no one “more capable and experienced” to take over the vertical than Pettersen.
Groes continued: “Stian has been with us for many years and knows the casino vertical inside-out. He did an incredible job with BonusEngine, which is now one of our biggest differentiators on the market.
“He’s hands-on, with both business and technical understanding, which is very rare, and has a clear vision which resonates very well with our team,” he added.
