DRAGONFISH HAS signed a new deal with Greek operator Lex Online Entertainment targeting the south and east Europe markets.
Dragonfish, 888’s business-to-business (B2B) arm, will supply Lex, a subsidiary of Centric Multimedia, with casino and poker technology and customer support for its LexPoker.com and LexCasino.com sites.
Multimedia and software distributor Centric, listed on the Athens Stock Exchange, has held investments in egaming companies operating in south and east European market since 2007, and is understood to have recorded turnover in the first three quarters of 2009 of 546.7m.
Dragonfish managing director Gabi Campos said: “We believe that Centric Group’s online gaming investment and local market knowledge combined with Dragonfish’s comprehensive online gaming operation infrastructure, skills and experience, creates a partnership that has significant potential for LexPoker and LexCasino to become leading players in the south and eastern European markets.”
