Dominik Beier stands down as Interwetten CEO
Speaker of the board exits after disagreement over the future development of Austria-founded sports betting operator
Dominik Beier has departed his role as Interwetten CEO due to conflicting views with the board over the future direction of the company. Beier led the Austria-founded sports betting operator for just shy of two years, having been appointed CEO and speaker of the board back in February 2019 at just 27-years-old. Beier, who formerly spent six years as global head of advertising and sponsorship sales for sports data provider Sportradar, confirmed his exit in an email to EGR. It said: “I would like to inform you, that I will no longer be the speaker of the board for Interwetten. “Due to different views on how to position and develop the company in the future, we took the common decision to separate our paths. “Interwetten is definitely ready for the future, economically healthy and highly competitive. I am very sure that Interwetten, together with all employees and you as valued partners, will further write its success story.”
