Costa to launch Dragonfish-powered slots website
CostaGames.com to be unveiled by end of June featuring slots and table games from suppliers including NetEnt and WMS
Costa Bingo-owner Mandalay Media is to expand its bingo brand into the casino vertical with a new slots-focused website set to be launched in the coming weeks, eGaming Review has learned.
CostaGames.com will be launched backed by a digital marketing campaign on desktop before the end of the month and like its bingo counterpart will be powered 888’s Dragonfish platform.
The new website will feature slots, table games and scratchcards from suppliers including NetEnt, WMS, Pariplay and Eyecon Games, many of which were previously seen under the Cashino tab on CostaBingo.com.
“We are doing some unique features with the site which our competitors on the Dragonfish platform don’t currently have, so I think it will be an interesting product,” Irina Cornides, managing director of Mandalay Media, told eGR this morning.
Mandalay owns some of the UK’s leading online bingo websites, including Costa Bingo, Sing Bingo, City Bingo, Fancy Bingo and Rio Bingo, as well as leading affiliate sites Casino Choice and Ignite.
The company was acquired last year by online gambling group Intertain for £60m as part of the Toronto-based firm’s wider push into the UK online bingo market.
In April Intertain completed its acquisition of Gamesys’ Jackpotjoy, Botemania and Starspin brands as part of a £423m deal first revealed by eGR.
