CORE Gaming strikes GECO supply deal
Partnership will see CORE Gaming titles made available on GECO's remote gaming server
CORE Gaming has partnered with fellow supplier GECO Gaming to add its range of titles to GECO’s remote gaming server.
The deal will see more than 100 of CORE’s HTML5-developed gaming titles made available via GECO’s remote gaming server starting later this quarter.
The first titles to be added will be roulette and blackjack-based products that will comprise a portfolio of table games including video poker and three card brag.
Slots, scratch cards and virtual betting products will follow throughout a phased process that will take place over the course of the year, and CORE chief executive Justin Chamberlain said the deal would enable the firm to reach its “delivery ambitions”.
“Our partnership with GECO is a natural progression for CORE Gaming and marks our transition from industry leading HTML5 development studio to world leading games content provider,” Chamberlain added.
Last year eGaming Review reported that CORE Gaming was up for sale after a number of large supply firms expressed an interest in acquiring the studio.
Playtech, OpenBet and Williams Interactive all showed an interest in the supplier and OpenBet were understood to have detailed talks with the firm’s management before ending its interest.
