Coral seals Derby County betting partnership deal
Three-year agreement sees bookmaker become Rams' official betting and gaming partner
Coral has signed a three-year deal with Derby County to become the club’s new official betting and gaming partner.
As part of the deal, which runs until the end of the 2018-19 season, the bookmaker will offer a cash betting service at the Championship side’s iPro Stadium on matchdays.
Coral will also offer Derby fans and visitors of the club’s digital channels its full betting opportunities.
“Football betting is one of the fastest growing parts of our business and we are thrilled that we can partner with Derby County, a football club with such stature and heritage in the game,” Coral’s PR director Simon Clare, said.
“We look forward to introducing our exciting football betting service to Derby County’s fans, both at home and in the stadium over the next few years and wish the club the best of luck for the forthcoming season,” he added.
Derby County’s president and chief executive Sam Rush said the club was “delighted” to be partnering with the bookmaker.
“We very much hope and believe that this will be the start of a long and successful relationship between both parties,” he added.
Elsewhere, EnergyCasino’s new sportsbook brand EnergyBet has become Aston Villa’s new official betting partner.
The recently-launched UK sportsbook operator struck a shirt sponsorship deal with Leyton Orient last month and is set to go live later this month.
