ComeOn Group lands Dutch licence

ComeOn Group has become the 20th firm to be awarded a licence by the Netherlands Gambling Authority (KSA). ComeOn Group will launch operations in the market using its flagship brand ComeOn as it continues its global expansion plans. The firm recently went live in Ontario with its ComeOn brand and also launched its Mobilebet platform to the German online sports betting market earlier this year. The operator said the move into the Netherlands further solidified the group’s position at pursuing business ventures in regulated markets. ComeOn Group will partner with Bragg Gaming Group as its tech supplier in the market. Bragg will provide its full turnkey solution to ComeOn, along with proprietary and exclusive content to be used on the ComeOn.nl site. Efi Peleg, ComeOn Group chief marketing officer, said: “There has been a lot of hard work and preparation leading up to this. We are all excited to see the launch of our flagship brand into this promising regulated market.’’ Chris Looney, Bragg chief commercial officer, said: “We are pleased to partner and collaborate in the launch of another strong brand in the Dutch market where we have already achieved such strong early success. “This expansion is further testimony to the quality of our full turnkey product and services offering.” Since launching the regulated market on 1 October 2021, the Netherlands has continued to welcome back major operators that had previously been subject to a cooling-off period. The likes of Entain and Kindred have returned after seeing revenue severely impacted by having to withdraw operations. The Dutch government is also in the process of developing updates on gambling regulation in the country, which could see a swathe of marketing and deposit restrictions implemented.
