Exclusive: ComeOn Group announces long-term membership with the IBIA
The operator has said all betting brands will feed into the IBIA’s monitoring and alert platform
ComeOn Group has announced that all of its 20-plus brands will feed into the International Betting Integrity Association’s (IBIA) alert and monitoring platform.
The operator stated that it would be starting a new long-term membership with the regulator as the firm tries to continue its commitment to giving players a platform that is free from betting-related corruption.
ComeOn Group becomes the latest operator to become a part of IBIA, with the association’s members accounting for over $137bn (£104.9bn) of global betting turnover a year, and nearly half of all regulated betting activity as well.
Juergen Reutter, CEO of the ComeOn Group, said: “We are very excited about joining forces with IBIA. This will enable us to keep protecting our customers and provide a safe and enjoyable player experience, which is of highest priority.”
Khalid Ali, CEO of IBIA, commented: “The addition of ComeOn to IBIA’s ranks is another important step for the association as it seeks to expand its global membership of responsible and reputable sports betting operators.”
This news follows IBIA joining forces with Fecoljuegos in Colombia to try and combat sports-related fraud and match-fixing.
The IBIA also signed an MoU with the Canadian Gaming Association recently to try and stem the same issue of match-fixing and uphold integrity in Canada.
