City Bingo launched on Dragonfish
Free site becomes Mandalay Media Group's third standalone bingo network on the Dragonfish platform.
Costa Bingo owner Mandalay Media Group has launched new free bingo site City Bingo, its third standalone bingo network on 888’s Dragonfish B2B platform.
Richard Skelhorn, Mandalay co-founder, (pictured) said he hoped the launch of City Bingo would help it challenge Cashcade’s Foxy network for the number one position on the Dragonfish network.
“The initial response to the launch has been excellent and has helped along with the heavy investment in Costa increase our total number of players online during peak hours to almost 4,000. [We] hope over the next 12 months to challenge for the number one position on both traffic and revenue levels.”
Dragonfish managing director David Zerah added: “We are delighted to further this partnership [with Mandalay Media] with the launch of City Bingo, and look forward to working with them to help the site reach the levels of success achieved by the two previous networks.”
Costa’s use of the free bingo model to help become one of the busiest sites in the UK within six months of its launch in July 2009 helped Mandalay win the hard-fought One To Watch category at the eGR Operator Awards last November. Mandalay followed Costa with the launch of Sing Bingo 12 months later in July 2010.
