Catena Media names new group head of product
Affiliate promotes from within as Craig Harman steps up to lead product output after more than five years with firm
Catena Media has appointed Craig Harman as its new group head of product as the Malta-based affiliate continues to action its in-house promotion roadmap.
Harman takes the step up following his stint as head of product development EMEA at the company from April 2021 until June 2022.
He originally joined the Stockholm-listed firm in February 2017 as a marketing coordinator, before stepping up to become senior sports product owner in March 2018.
Harman was awarded his first head role in October 2019 after transitioning into a head of sports product position.
In his new role, Harman will oversee global product development at the affiliate as it continues to look to make strides in North America and regain its footing in Europe.
He said: “I am thrilled to announce that I’ve accepted a new position as group head of product at Catena Media.

Earlier this year, Catena Media CEO Michael Daly spoke to EGR about the importance of rewarding staff internally, as opposed to looking for external candidates for senior positions.
Daly said: “Announcing you’ve hired someone because they’ve got a long CV is probably more exciting than announcing you’ve promoted someone who has been with Catena for five years.
“It doesn’t sound as exciting to the markets but it might actually be the better move,” he added.
