Camelot diversifies into digital management services
Camelot Global to offer partners digital lottery management services, starting with the Irish National Lottery
Camelot is to offer online and mobile lottery management services to lottery operators as part of a response to a “rapidly evolving marketplace”.
The group’s Camelot Global Services will partner with lotteries to provide marketing, operational and technology services “ dubbed iLottery Channel Management – designed to help maximise revenues.
“We realise the huge potential in the iLottery market and recognise that lotteries must implement this channel to grow participation, remain engaging to players; to help them deal with increasing competition and to maximise revenues for beneficiaries,” Alex Kovach, MD of Camelot Global, said.
The group’s first customer will be Premier Lotteries Ireland, which manages the Irish National Lottery, and will initially provide marketing and web delivery services, including digital marketing capabilities through online, tablet and mobile channels.
The agreement will be expanded to include a new digital technology platform, with Camelot yet to reveal any additional details relating to the “revolutionary” new online platform it teased last month.
Andy Duncan, managing director at Camelot, said at the time that the new product, which eGR understands is being developed in-house, would “revolutionise the way players interact with our games”.
