Cake, EveryMatrix team up for poker-sportsbook push
Cake Poker and white label sportsbook EveryMatrix have signed a deal to market a combined white-label poker and sportsbook package.
CAKE Poker and white label sportsbook EveryMatrix have signed a deal to offer a combined poker and sportsbook package to consumer-facing egaming sites.
The deal will see the two companies market the Cake Poker Network and OddsMatrix sportsbook products jointly, with Cake’s Network integrated into EveryMatrix’s GamMatrix back-office for customers the two share such as BeteXpress, which launched an Odds Matrix sportsbook in January and joined the Cake Network in April.
Cake marketing director Andrew Turner said: “Not only are Cake and EveryMatrix complementary from a technological aspect, but we also have different geographic strengths. Cake has been strongest in the Americas but is looking to grow in Europe, whereas EveryMatrix has been strong in Europe but is looking to expand with recent deals in Latin America.”
Turner referred to new Latin America-focused Everymatrix client Vision Media, which became the Danish company’s 20th client last month.
OddsMatrix chief executive Stian Hornsletten said: “Since Cake and EveryMartix operate complimentary businesses within the online gaming marketplace and have a similar approach, joining forces seemed a natural step.”
The Cake Network has seen a host of sites both leave and join its network this year. In February, Sportsbook.com-owner Jazette Enterprises moved its Sportsbook.com, PlayersOnly.com and Superbook.com brands from Cake to the Merge Gaming network; while in addition to BeteXpress, poker sites JuicyStakes and KakuyPoker joined the Cake network last month, and Intertops joined Cake last week.
EveryMatrix has been shortlisted for prizes including Innovation in Sports Betting Software for the eGaming Review B2B Awards.
