Bwin.party launches football âtrendsâ app
Statistics-based app updates users on selected football matches with live information and suggested bets
Bwin.party has launched a statistics-based football app called bwin Trends, its first non-gambling app for the bwin sports betting brand.
Launched last weekend, bwin Trends asks users to set alerts for their favourite teams or specific fixtures before sending frequent updates using the appâs push messaging capabilities.
Customers are alerted 20 minutes before kick-off and throughout the game the app with âtrendsâ that suggest certain bets for customers to take advantage of.
An example given by the operator includes score updates from a Premier League encounter between Manchester City and Liverpool, detailing how the Manchester club have scored first in 17 of their last 20 home matches with a button below offering customers one-click bet placement on them to win the game.
Customers can also rate the statistics and suggested bets on how useful they are with bwin using the information to tailor future messages.
Updates are available for major German, English, Dutch, Swedish and Austrian football leagues and users can select individual teams to follow in each league.
Trends follows the release of several apps and app updates released by operators offering similar capabilities.
Ladbrokesâ âMy Accaâ feature, released last month, keeps users up to speed with the scores on matches that have formed their single-line accumulator bets, while bet365 added live score push notification capabilities to its app in time for this summerâs World Cup.
