Buzz Bingo hires Dominic Mansour as COO of digital business
Former Bragg Gaming, PokerStars and Full Tilt exec lands leadership role at UK-based bingo operator
Buzz Bingo has recruited former Bragg Gaming CEO and online gambling veteran Dominic Mansour as the new chief operating officer (COO) for its digital business. Prior to his three-year stint at Bragg Gaming, Mansour was MD at online poker outfit Full Tilt and then SVP for South Europe at PokerStars. Mansour is set to join Buzz Bingo in mid-January and will lead the Buzz digital team. Since launching in September 2018, Buzz has built an established online platform. Buzz Bingo CEO Chris Matthews said of the appointment: “Dominic coming on-board with his exceptional sector and leadership experience will be crucial in driving the next phase of digital growth for Buzz. “Working collaboratively across the business, he will be key to delivering our strategy to deliver a real differentiated, customer-focused product,” he added. Further changes to the leadership team will see current chief digital officer Stevie Shaves move into the role of chief commercial officer (CCO), replacing Jamie Queen who will leave the business at the end of January. Shaves will head up bingo, slots and food and beverage product development in his new role, as well as partnerships, procurement and the development of the firm’s omni-channel strategy.
