BoyleSports extends SSBT deal with Playtech BGT Sports
Irish operator increases number of betting terminals as part of a new four-year agreement
BoyleSports has signed a new four-year deal with Playtech BGT Sports to launch an additional 325 self-service betting terminals (SSBTs).
The new agreement with the sports betting solutions provider will see the Irish operator take its total number of SSBTs to over 600 across its 220-strong estate.
These include widescreen Storm terminals featuring Playtech BGT Sports’ own sportsbook software.
BoyleSports head of retail, Jenna Boyle, said the software is a fundamental part of the operator’s retail strategy.
She said: “It supports in the delivery of incremental turnover and a strong margin. We wanted to ensure our customer proposition is always relevant and topical.
“To that end, extending our SSBT estate, with the addition of an ongoing product development roadmap with new software and content features such as Racing Post and back end bonus improvements, will give us a genuine point of differentiation against the competition.”
John Pettit, managing director for UK, Ireland, Asia, and Australia, Playtech BGT Sports added: “BoyleSports is very important for us and has been quick to lead the way in the rapidly-developing Irish market, where SSBTs are increasingly significant to betting shop customers.”
