Bonza Gaming debuts first mobile app
Alderney-licensed firm launches its first mobile app, Bonza Slots, on iOS
Social-gambling firm Bonza Gaming has made its first move into mobile with the launch of a real-money slots app on iOS.
Bonza Slots was unveiled on the Apple App Store yesterday for both iPhone and iPad devices and incorporates seamless synchronised gameplay with the Facebook version.
The mobile app includes Bonza’s five most popular slots games currently available on the social network canvas offering and a range of social features on the homepage such as a Facebook fan page and friend invitations.
Rick Brownlow, CEO of Bonza Gaming, told eGaming Review he expects mobile to become a sizeable part of the business going forward and that its social proposition will provide a differentiator from other products on the market.
“Being the first Facebook RMG partner to have our app published in the Apple App store is huge for us,” he said.
“We are very excited about the opportunities that mobile offers us; it provides another channel for our existing customers to enjoy Bonza Slots and also offers a new and fast growing acquisition channel,” Brownlow added.
The real-money mobile app includes one free-to-play game and Brownlow said the company plans to add tournaments in the near future to bring it in line with the Facebook version.
The Alderney-licensed firm launched Bonza Slots on Facebook last February and was at the time the third operator to offer a real-money gambling app on the social network.
Bonza Gaming was formed in December 2012 following a joint venture between social casino start-up Plumbee and egaming operator Sportingbet, which later sold its 50% stake to Unibet.
