Bodog makes hand histories available
Players can access opponents' hands as well as their own.
Bodog has made full hand histories available to its poker players for the first time since launching anonymous tables across its network.
In a move described by the operator as an attempt to tackle collusion, players will receive hole-card details for the entire table for all hands requested, included opponents’ folded hands.
Hands will be made available 24 hours after being played, and players will be able to access hand histories for the past 31 days. There is no limit to the number of hands which players can request within that time period.
A spokesman for Bodog advised players concerned about collusion to “contact our Customer Service who will forward to our poker security team for further investigation.” He also reassured players that the continued anonymous tables ensure “nobody can use [hole-card] information against them in future hands.”
Bodog introduced anonymous poker tables upon the launch of its new poker software last November, before adding the feature to its Asian-facing brand licensee Bodog88 earlier this month.
Jonas Odman, VP of the Bodog Poker Network, said: “The fact that we can now offer players this information is another advantage of our anonymous tables and something nobody else can offer. Collusion is a natural concern for any poker room but this new additional feature puts the player in full control.”
