Bettorlogic signs Arsenal FC website deal
Arsenal football club has signed a deal with Bettorlogic to feature its Player Pro tool on the Arsenal FC homepage.
ARSENAL football club has signed a deal with Bettorlogic to feature its Player Pro tool on the Arsenal FC homepage.
Bettorlogic’s Player Pro examines the influence of all players and player combinations across the major football leagues. Bettorlogic develops betting tools to allow users to analyse form both pre-event and during play.
As reported on EGRmagazine.com, bookmaker Coral recently signed a deal with FSB Technology to launch a similar analytical tool, a white-labelled service providing live FSB Points updates and historic performance data ahead of last Sunday’s match between Arsenal rival Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool FC.
However unlike the FSB product, which allows bets on player performance, the Bettorlogic offering will be used only to produce editorial content for the site.
Bettorlogic chief executive Mike Falconer said:“Arsenal.com is one of the most viewed sports websites in Britain and it’s pleasing that they’ve recognised the quality Player PRO can add to editorial content. We look forward to producing some of the most interesting, unique analytical content available.”
The Arsenal and FSB deals are just the latest in a flurry of deals between football clubs and online betting brands. As reported on EGRmagazine.com on Friday, Nigel Payne’s previous company Sportingbet became the official betting partner of Portsmouth football club for the 2009-10 season, following ties this month between British betting exchange Betfair and Manchester United, and Asian sportsbook 188Bet’s deal with Chelsea FC.
Bettorlogic is backed by Betfair founder Andrew Black and former Sportingbet chief executive Nigel Payne. It signed a partnership with Sportradar in March 2009 to distribute the Bettorlogic range of Form lab and Trader lab products throughout its 350 strong sportsbook customer network.
