Betting Promotion undergoes executive reshuffle
Departure of deputy CEO and CTO comes a day after Tain acquire 18% stake in the business.
Swedish data and trading solutions provider Betting Promotion has announced that its deputy CEO Pär Timby and CTO Christian Malmros are to leave the business at the end of the year.
In a statement released this morning the company said that having worked on the development of their product offering over the past few years, the company would be hiring “sales-oriented” management to embark on a sales and marketing push.
The news comes after yesterday’s announcement that egaming platform provider Tain was to acquire a 18% stake in the company, which in turn came just days after it completed its move to the Nasdaq OMX First North stock exchange.
“Together with Christian I led the technical development of the bookmaker product in its first phase and it has been a challenging but very rewarding experience. Now that Betting Promotion enters a different phase, the time is right for me to hand over to a new team,” Timby said of his departure.
Acting CEO Jonas Ornstein added: “As one of the founders of Betting Promotion and director since 2010, I have followed the development of the company very closely. I am currently putting together a new management team adapted for our future challenges.”
