Better Collective recruits former Sportradar CTO as SVP of product and tech
Pablo Jensen arrives at the Copenhagen-based affiliate from GAN Integrity
Better Collective has hired technology expert Pablo Jensen as its new senior vice-president (SVP) or product and technology. Jensen joins Better Collective from GAN Integrity, where he has worked as chief technology officer (CTO) since being appointed in January 2020. Prior to that, Jensen spent seven years as CTO of data specialist Sportradar while based in Switzerland. He has also worked in credible technology roles outside of the online gambling industry, primarily during a seven-year spell for Thomson Reuters as CTO and technology director. Better Collective has made the appointment to strengthen the technology focus behind its sports betting media brands. “Pablo is a perfect match for us and it’s a great pleasure to welcome him to Better Collective,” said Better Collective CEO Jesper Søgaard. “He has worked on an international scale for many years and, from his years with Sportradar, brings in-depth knowledge of our operating environment. “In an industry that is developing rapidly with more and more markets opening for online sports betting, we want to continue offering products and solutions that wow our users. “Throughout his career, Pablo has demonstrated the ability to successfully lead such an effort and I am confident he will be a valuable addition to our organisation,” he added. Jensen commented: “This is a great opportunity for me to contribute my tech management skills and experience in a company that continues to grow, expand and pursue global market leadership.”
