Better Collective continues M&A spree with record purchase
Super affiliate cements its position as German market leader with €36m acquisition of Austrian sports betting firm
Better Collective has completed the €36m acquisition of Austrian-based sports betting affiliate firm Bola Webinformation GmbH and its flagship product Wettbasis.com.
The acquired company’s annual revenue in 2017 was approximately €9m while EBITA reached nearly €6.5m.
Bola Webinformation GmbH was founded in 2008 and becomes Better Collective’s eleventh and most expensive acquisition to date.
Bola’s key product offering is Wettbasis.com, a leading affiliate website in the German sports betting market.
Better Collective is keen to establish itself as the leading affiliate in German-speaking markets having purchased German sports website Sportfreunde GmbH last year.

The Bola Webinformation GbmH team will be based in Better Collective’s new Vienna office.
