Betsafe brand launches 'Emperor' app on iOS and Android
Betsson’s Betsafe brand has unveiled a new social betting game for Euro 2016 on mobile devices.
The native pool app, ‘Emperor’, is available on both iOS and Android and allows players to participate against each other by predicting events during a live football match.
Participants can also win cash prizes pre-allocated from a prize pool.
A first version has been made available for the European Championships, with more leagues and features set to be added in Q3.
The app is available in all main markets in which Betsafe operates, including the UK, Sweden, Norway and Finland.
“There is an increased demand for games that engage players during the games and therefore we are launching the football version of the Emperor for Euro 2016,” Jesper Svensson, chief commercial officer, Betsson Malta, said.
“I am confident that it will enhance the experience for our customers,” he added.
According to Ulrik Bengtsson, CEO of Betsson AB, the Group’s subsidiaries have now developed 24 “unique” mobile apps.
“This initiative is in line with Betsson subsidiaries strategy to be at the forefront in providing great innovative mobile customer experiences,” said Bengtsson.
Betsafe became the first operator to launch a gambling app specifically for Apple TV with its Live Dealer Roulette product.
