Betsson seeks new bingo partner after Microgaming network closure
Malta-based operator open to bingo supplier deals after successful transition to iPoker
Betsson is seeking a new bingo B2B partner after migrating to Playtech’s iPoker client from the Microgaming Poker Network last week.
Microgaming powered Betsson’s previous bingo offering as part of a multi-vertical deal offered by the Microgaming Poker Network, which has now shut down for good.
While Betsson consumers can play poker via iPoker, the Malta-based operator is now in the market for a new B2B bingo supplier.
Potential partners would need to be licensed and suitable for customers across Malta, Sweden and the UK, according to Ciara Nic Liam, director of gaming product at Betsson, with room to expand into New Jersey, Spain, Italy, Latvia and Lithuania.
“If you have a bingo product that you think would be a good fit and meets the core licensing requirements of MGA, SGA and UKGC, please drop me an email and we will ensure that you are included in our RFP,” wrote Liam on LinkedIn.
YouGov’s Charlie Dundas last month investigated whether online bingo sites had experienced an uptick during the Covid-19 lockdown.
