Betsson creates senior management role for regulatory compliance
Associate Judge Fredric Lundén tasked with overseeing the firm’s regulatory risks and opportunities
Betsson has appointed Associate Judge Fredric Lundén to the role of VP governance, risk and compliance.
The newly created position will see Lundén tasked with ensuring the operator “invests ethically and long-term in relation to regulatory risks and opportunities,” a statement said.
Betsson president and CEO Ulrik Bengtsson commented: “The ability to navigate correctly in a rapidly changing regulatory environment will be a competitive advantage, both for our existing operations and for our acquisition strategy.”
Former business development manager at Betsson Malta, Petra Zackrisson has also joined the Group as VP of corporate development.
“Fredric and Petra complete Betsson’s group management and I look forward to working together with them in making Betsson even more successful,” Bengtsson added.
Fredric Lundén holds an MSc Laws from University of Stockholm and is an Associate Judge at Svea Court of Appeal while Petra Zackrisson holds an MSc International Business from Gothenburg Business School.
