Betgenius to undergo major operational restructure
Sportsbook supplier will split operations into two separate divisions under newly created parent company Genius Sports Group
Betgenius is set to undergo a major restructure and rebrand as the sportsbook software and technology supplier looks to bolster its footprint in the market.
Betgenius and sister company Sport Integrity Monitor will be separated into two separate business verticals under newly created parent company Genius Sports Group.
The supplier said Betgenius would continue to focus on developing bespoke B2B betting solutions, while Sport Integrity Monitor will focus on growing its data capture and analytics business.
Genius Sports Group will adopt the same management as Betgenius in order to “maintain continuity” in the existing day-to-day running of the firm.
Betgenius CEO Mark Lock said his firm had achieved “remarkable growth” in the past 12 months and had evolved to include new offerings such as its recently launched B2B eSports product.
“The creation of Genius Sports Group is a significant part of our long-term strategy to differentiate ourselves further in the market and continue to launch value-adding products,” he commented.
