Betfred adds Racing Post data to mobile
Operator integrates information from Racing Post including latest form and ratings into mobile sportsbookÂ
Betfred has continued to enhance its mobile sportsbook product with the addition of Racing Post form, verdicts and spotlight data previously only available to retail customers to the mobile channel.
A collaboration between Betfred and Racing Post had previously seen the newspaper provide the data to retail punters, but as part of a broader omni-channel push the information has now been integrated into the mobile UI to provide all customers with access.
âThis kind of information is invaluable in our shops and is supplied by the Racing Post, weâve given it a contemporary look on the mobile which adds to the customers experience when they are placing a bet,â Stuart Magowan, Betfredâs mobile development manager, said.
Racing Post chief executive Alan Byrne said the digital content agreement would give Betfred customers âdirect access to our expert analysis on the Betfred mobile and online platformsâ.
The addition is part of a wider iOS update revealed by eGR Mobile Intelligence last week, which also saw the roll-out of a new âApp Carouselâ feature allowing users to open, download and switch between Betfredâs full suite of nine apps, including standalone live casino and bingo offerings, more easily.
After a period of testing the operator also announced a full launch for its ACCAtacka mobile multiples feature which uses data from supplier and developer Bettorlogic to suggest football accumulators to users.
