Betfair bolsters casino with NetEnt deal
Operator signs content deal with NetEnt while also revealing software agreement with KYC specialists Sphonic
Betfair has bolstered its online content and security capabilities by signing contracts with Net Entertainment and London-based know your customer (KYC) specialists Sphonic.
Betfair’s deal with NetEnt follows a flurry of recent activity on the product side, with the Sweden-based supplier the latest firm contracted to deliver content to the operator.
The operator signed with new casino supplier The Games Company in June and in the same month integrated Colossus Bets’ pools betting product into its online sportsbook.
The deal with KYC firm Sphonic saw Betfair integrate its Workflow Manager solution during this summer’s World Cup, enabling the operator to combine data from various sources in order to improve identity confirmation and fraud prevention.
“We are dedicated to providing the highest level of customer service, and Sphonic’s integrated, real-time approach to big data ensures the needs of our growing user base will be met both now and in the future,” Phillip Rivers, head of registrations, payments and fraud at Betfair, said.
The KYC technology deal comes just two months after Betfair signed a similar contract with Jumio for the supplier’s Netverify picture-based identification solution.
