Betfair SEO expert makes Oddschecker move
Ryan Murton appointed to the newly created role of head of digital marketing at sports betting affiliate
Oddschecker has appointed Betfairâs senior SEO marketing manager Ryan Murton as the sports betting affiliateâs head of digital marketing, eGR Digital Marketing has learned.
Murton, who officially takes up the newly created role tomorrow, will oversee the Sky Betting & Gaming-owned firmâs online marketing department and report directly into managing director Toby Bentall.
Speaking to eGR DM, Murton said he was attracted to the role at Oddschecker because the company had always âbeen at the forefrontâ of egaming affiliate marketing.
âThe landscape has changed dramatically in recent years and I firmly believe that Oddschecker is in a position to capitalise on these trends,â Murton said.
âOddschecker now has a chance to focus heavily on international growth and the MyOddschecker product,â he added.
Murton worked as a marketing manager at Betfair for more than two years following its acquisition of the Rank Groupâs Blue Square brand in 2012 where he was SEO manager.
Prior to joining Rank Group he was an SEO specialist at Paddy Power.
